1/4 cup Earth Balance® Original Buttery Spread
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups plant-based milk, plus more if needed
1/4 cup nutritional yeast seasoning
1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice
1 cup (4oz) vegan parmesan
1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper, divided
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
16 ounces dry fettuccine pasta, uncooked
1 pkg (14 oz each) Gardein® Ultimate Plant-Based® Chick'n Strips
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Melt Earth Balance® in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Add flour and stir to thoroughly combine. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Slowly add plant-based milk, whisking until no clumps remain.
Add nutritional yeast and vinegar and bring to a low boil, whisking constantly until thickened, about 2 minutes. Add vegan parmesan and stir to incorporate. Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Add more milk to thin sauce if desired. Cover and keep warm.
Cook fettuccine according to package instructions, drain and toss with sauce.
Cook chick'n strips according to package directions. Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Divide fettuccine with vegan alfredo sauce into two serving bowls and top with Gardein® Chick'n Strips. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with additional crushed red pepper flakes and vegan parmesan. Enjoy!
